The published six-month comparison.

Maple Terroir had sold maple products since 1978. Its online store needed clearer product information and more ways for new customers to discover the brand. We rebuilt the website, added guides and connected those guides to relevant products.

The problem.

The site attracted about 50 monthly organic visits and had links from fewer than ten websites. Its product pages stood largely on their own, with limited supporting information about maple production, uses or Canadian heritage. Page descriptions, internal links and performance also needed attention.

What we changed.

We organized guides around maple production, tree tapping, regional differences and Canadian maple history, with related material on cocktails and seasonal gifts. Articles linked to relevant products so readers could move from a question to something they could buy.

The content included a guide to Canadian maple syrup, a production report and an article about the maple syrup heist. We contacted relevant publications and asked websites already mentioning the brand to add a link where appropriate.

We rewrote product and search descriptions, added structured product and business information, improved image and script loading, and launched the rebuilt store with clearer calls to action and customer proof.

What changed.

The published six-month comparison records monthly organic traffic rising from about 50 to more than 800, approximately 1,500% growth from the rounded starting figure. The number of websites linking to Maple Terroir rose from fewer than ten to more than 60.

The business also reported a 143% revenue increase and 39% more orders. Those are business results reported for the engagement; the published case does not clearly separate organic search revenue from other sales.

The case records referrals from AI tools, including a purchase of more than $300 attributed to ChatGPT. Those referrals are separate from how frequently AI tools mention or cite the brand.
